We have celebrated a Pre Diwali Day at Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Dhenkanal.

Events:

1. We hosted a Diwali assembly
2. We have created a Diwali display corner with rangoli and diya making by students.
3. We have organised a Diwali-themed snacks day for students with their parents support.

3. Social skills (interaction)
4. Language development (sing-along)
5. Creativity and self-expression

Pre Diwali Day at Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Dhenkanal

We are delighted to share that our school celebrated the vibrant festival of Navratri on 07/10/2024. 

To add to the festive spirit, we invited all students to wear traditional attire related to Navratri, such as:

- Gujarati Ghagra Choli
- South Indian Saree or Salwar Kameez
- Punjabi Suit or Lehenga
- Traditional Odia or Bengali attire

###### Details:
- Time: regular school timings 
- Venue: School Ground
- Activities:
- Traditional Garba and Dandiya Raas
 
 Parents volunteered their own  name for traditional food display and sharing.

###### Guidelines:

- Students are encouraged to wear traditional attire that represents their cultural heritage.
- The dress code was modest and respectful.
- Students  participated in the festivities with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

###### Prizes:

- Best Traditional Attire (Individual) and Best traditional food item by parents.

Celebration of Navratri at SSRVM DHENKANAL

Children's Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at SSRVM DHENKANAL on 14th November 2024. The day marked the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister, who was fondly known as 'Chacha Nehru' for his love for children.
 Students presented energetic song and dance performances, including folk dances.
The Children's Day celebration was a resounding success, fostering teamwork, creativity, and camaraderie among students and teachers. The event reinforced the importance of nurturing young minds and promoting cultural values.
